To avoid an overwhelming amount of information displaying concurrently on the calendar, you also have the option of limiting the events displaying at any one time purely to one of the singlar categories listed above, with the ability to switch between different types of calendar views that are documented below.
This is NOT a comprehensive list of all the features available. Consider this section a "Quick Start Guide" to allow you to start using the calendar immediately. Other features will become apparent to more advanced users with use.
Month View (Default)
The default calendar display is in "Month View" mode. In this default view use the green arrows (above) to advance between different months. The right arrow will adavance the display by one month, the left arrow will decline by one month.
Day View
Clicking on this button will zoom the view to display the contents of purely one single day. This allows a greater level of detail showing all the specifics of every event on that single day. Note: Within the "Day View" mode, note that the green arrows now advance or decline between specific days instead of whole months. Switching views will default to the current time period, even if you were viewing the future or past.
Week View
Clicking on this button will zoom the view to display the contents of purely one single week. This allows a greater level of detail showing all the specifics of every event on that single week. Note: Within the "Week View" mode, note that the green arrows now advance or decline between specific weeks instead of whole months, or days. Switching views will default to the current time period, even if you were viewing the future or past.
Restore Month View
This is the default view again. You can restore this view from any other view simply by clicking on the Month View button as shown above. Switching views will default to the current time period, even if you were viewing the future or past.
Event Types
Initially there may be more events displaying than you care to see at one time. If this is the case, simply select which types of events you would like to display from the yellow drop-down box shown above. Whichever type of event you select will limit the display of the calendar to events that reside solely within that category.
