"In accordance with and as required by the existing Constituition and By-laws dated April 12, 2003, previously approved by the Department of Florida on May 6, 2003, the Proposed New Constitution and By-laws are being published on the Post website, with the summary only in the upcoming publication of the Monthly Bugler, as well as being posted on the Post Home Bulletin Board, for a period of two months. In addition, a copy will be made available to any Legion member of Post 137 on request at the Post Business Office any Monday, Wednesday or Friday, between the hours of 1:30 and 5:00 pm. This action was was affirmed by the Executive Committee on August 11, 2010 and by the General Assembly on August 14, 2010. After the required two month period, a vote by the membership will be taken at the October 2010 General Assembly, requiring a two-thirds majority for final approval and submission to the Department of Florida."
